Jaunty Angles

It's one of those November days where it's warmer outside the house than inside. This tree at a jaunty angle caught my eye this morning in the park. I wanted something horizontal to draw as Fridays tree sketch was vertical and I didn't want to repeat myself too much.

My drawings of autumnal trees tend to merge into one these days but the shaky, wobbly lines seem to be beneficial to my shaky, wobbly post run hands. It takes me about 20 minutes to do the line work  and most of the cross hatching done in situ. I add the colour and writing afterwards. It's just easier for layout and my internal editor approves.
