INTRODUCTION

John Welding is a professional illustrator who lives and works in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. He has 20+ years drawing experience in comic strips, book illustration, museum interpretation and theatre design. On a good day he draws direct with dip pens and ink and watercolour.

At the moment he is illustrating a large commission for Pontefract Castle and participating in Inktober 2018 where he draws something in ink every day. Business as usual then.
