Fall Ing Lock
inktober day 19

Making it this far into October without a full day of torrential rain had to happen sooner or later. I drew Fall Ing Lock stood on the bridge under an umbrella. The rain started as drizzle but soon turned into a downpour. Just me, the Ducks and a couple of Swans.

To be honest I didn't finish the sketch at the Lock, sketching in just enough detail so I could finish it off at home. You can see the paper and ink was taking on water. I managed to hide most of the water drop marks by applying a thin ink wash over the drawing. Breaking my self imposed #inktober rule this year of using just ink straight out of a pen.
