Inktober starts soon so I'm having a practice run. This year I want to draw, in ink, outside for each day of the month of October. My first thought was to use dip pen and ink, forgetting the frustrations that come with it. After juggling pen, bottle, caps and sketchbook I decided against using the dippen to draw with. It's unpredictable, fine for a climate controlled desk or studio but there are too many variables out side that stop the ink flowing in an enjoyable way.
So I have opted for my other favourite drawing tool, the Pilot Parallel Pen (2.4mm). Great for drawing trees. I just want to draw trees.
