Back on the Knights again

An experiment in colouring up a sketchbook drawing. It's fun, but a little time consuming for what I'm planning to do with it.

Medieval Weapons Research

This morning I was flicking through library books looking for reference material. Here's a page from my Moleskine regarding the spikey pointy weapons of medieval soldiers, drawn direct with one of those spikey pointy Pilot G-Tec-C4 pens.

Drawing and Re-Drawing

Busy light boxing a character today, trying to give him a more  'medieval' character and greasy chicken lips. The pencilled version was taking far too long to do properly, so resorted back to marker pens, particually the PITT Calligraphy Pen. Which, for what the drawing will be used for, is going to create a better image.
